I grew up in SE MN on a hobby farm where my family raised goats, sheep, chickens and one of almost every other farm animal at some point. I came to Polyface as a steward in 2020 to be able to make a living as a farmer and thoroughly enjoyed that summer. I loved the idea of teaching and leading the upcoming team through their summer season and stayed through 2021 as an apprentice. My desire has remained to grow with the steward/apprentice program leading to my current role as a team leader. In my non Polyface time, I milk my cow, hunt, help at church youth group and produce podcasts!
